The Center for Digital Government’s (CDG) Digital Cities Survey provides the opportunity for city information technology organizations to highlight the great work being done, benchmark with their peers and identify trends for the future. This year’s survey has been re-organized to better reflect current challenges and the changing technology landscape, while including a special section specifically relating to your COVID-19 efforts. In addition, we have upgraded our survey tool to make it easier to respond.
On this webcast, CDG Co-Director Phil Bertolini and Survey Manager Janet Grenslitt will walk you through this year’s survey – the overall structure, what’s new and approaches you can use to fill it out. Lea Eriksen, the CIO of the City of Long Beach, Calif., will provide her experiences on how important it is to be part of the survey process. It will also cover:
- The objectives and intent of the survey
- How to navigate the new survey tool
- Next steps and timing for survey submissions
- Any questions the audience has and how to use the FAQs
We encourage you to invite anyone in the city who will be involved in the survey to attend. We look forward to a successful 2020 Digital Cities Survey!
